Dear Cast and Crew of Prince of Egypt,
Last night there was a fire in the Sparta High School Auditorium. There was extensive damage and repairs may not be completed before the end of the school year.
It is with a very heavy heart that Jeff and I have made the decision to cancel our show for this year. I will work with the publishing company to secure the rights for next year– Feb 17 -21, 2027. All cast members will keep their current parts if they want to. We will do auditions in November 2026 for only the parts which people vacate.
If you have scripts or music, please return them to your directors so they can be returned to the publishing company.
So very sad, everyone.
